Experiences
She advises on international and national commercial law mandates. Furthermore, she specializes in complex court proceedings, arbitration proceedings, IT and IP law, corporate law and contract drafting. As important, she also acts as an arbitrator.
In the area of IT law, she particularly devotes herself to the technical aspects of the case. For this reason, she has also completed a course to become a specialist lawyer for IT law and successfully passed the relevant examinations.
Already during her studies at the Universities of Heidelberg and Uppsala (Sweden), her main interest was in international private and civil procedural law and arbitration law. During her legal clerkship, she deepened her knowledge of international commercial law in positions at international and national law firms in Mannheim, Frankfurt and Stockholm.
Her enthusiasm for international issues and negotiations was already evident in her voluntary work during her studies: She is a member of Deutsche Model United Nations (DMUN) e.V. and was active there as chairwoman of the board, as secretary general of MUNBW 2011 and as project manager of MUNBW 2009. She was also involved in the accreditation of DMUN as an NGO at ECOSOC of the United Nations.
In addition to German, Ricarda Fahrbach is fluent and business fluent in English. She also speaks Swedish and has knowledge of French and Italian.
Ricarda Fahrbach is a member of DIS (German Institution of Arbitration), DIS40 (German Initiative of Young Arbitration Lawyers), DAVIT (IT Law Working Group in the German Lawyer Association) and GRUR (German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
She regularly publishes on topics of German and international commercial law with a focus on international civil procedure law.
